For prime holiday dates (Fridays and Saturdays in November and December) you should book our company Christmas party locations in Northern Michigan at least 12 months in advance. For all other dates, six months is a good guideline.

Once you sign your contract, our resorts will provide a culinary team to plan and prepare your food functions. Additionally, a banquet team will be available to set up your room and a complete waitstaff will be provided to ensure all needs are met during the event. Our event management team will also help you plan all details and act as a liaison with the hotel departments. Your event manager can help you arrange and secure floral, decor, audio visual, music, photography, signage, and transportation with outside vendors. Included with our company holiday party venues are the tables, chairs, white linens, WIFI, and podium with microphone.

No, we can help you plan parties from 10 to 800! There is a minimum food and beverage requirement for most spaces however, so please keep that in mind when planning and budgeting.

While most of our holiday parties are held indoors, we do offer some outdoor spaces with firepits and heated tents for guests to enjoy. At The Highlands, event planners can also make use of our Enchanted Trail through the forest with a festive yurt at the end. This area can be reserved Monday through Wednesday.
